Known for their artsy scene, as well as their hidden outdoor gems, which include waterfalls and trails, it’s safe to say that Hamilton is no longer considered the ‘steel-city’. In 2003 the city hosted the Road World Championships that is an annual world championship for bike racing.

Located at the foot of Habourfront Drive, there are numerous features including a multi-use asphalt pathway at Bayfront. This scenic area is in demand for joggers, sight seeing and cyclers alike. Anyone can enjoy the peaceful water views along with dining out at the waterfront’s restaurants!

Hamilton to Brantford Trail
Completed in 1996, this trail is known for being one of the best trails to ride a bike in Ontario. This trail is Ontario’s first off road biking-hiking trail. The Hamilton sector of the trail runs through scenic Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
Dundas Valley Trail
Noted for being one of Southern Ontario’s most magnificent natural treasures, this trail displays forests, vibrant meadows, cold-water streams and amazing sights of rare plants, birds and wildlife. The list of possibilities can go on!
