Performance

Although the exact range will vary depending on factors such as weather and riding conditions (incline, etc.), one full battery charge will take you up to 32 kms (20 miles), which is enough range for many daily commutes.

The different sized wheels offer the best of two worlds. The 20 inch front wheel facilitates pedaling and makes for a more comfortable ride, while the 16 inch back wheel allows for a greater torque by the motor (which lets you climb up steeper hills) while keeping the rider's center of mass low to the ground.

The FLEX has a top speed of 28 km/h (17.5 mph). Unlike conventional cycling, e-bikes can maintain a more constant speed, which helps you keep up with the flow of traffic. Our FLEX is designed for quick acceleration, which is invaluable for stop and go city conditions.

Our patented Dual Mode Crank (DMC) design allows the rider to easily switch the position of their feet from cruising position (both feet parallel and on the same level) for riding on battery power alone to an active riding position (for when you need that extra pedal power). When cruising, the DMC offers a fluid riding experience by automatically balancing the rider's feet position during turns.

The FLEX is capable of climbing hills with an incline of more than 10% grade. With a little bit of help from your own pedaling, you'll be able to ride up hills that conventional cyclists would have to walk their bikes up.

Located in the rear wheel hub, the motor provides 250W of continuous output, with a maximum of 500W. The smaller back wheel provides more torque than would be possible with a larger wheel, contributing to its high power to weight ratio.

Yes, and fun! We made fun and simplicity our top priorities. The rider is seated in a comfortable upright position, and the simplified controls allow for an intuitive ride.The riding experience is fresh and new, also most riders take off successfully on their first ride.

No, Revelo Electric Bikes are meant to be primarily propelled by the electric motor, but has fully functioning pedals. The pedaling is used mostly to assist with climbing steep hills or in the rare occasion where you have a short distance to cover without the use of the battery.

You can charge the battery as you would a laptop; just plug it into an available electrical wall outlet at the cost of only pennies. It takes 3-5 hours for a complete charge which can be done with the battery on its own or still attached to the bike. The batteries we provide are rated for up to 1000 full recharge cycles.

The unique design of the FLEX promotes a relaxed, upright riding position very much like sitting in a car. That, combined with our shock absorbing cushioned seat, provides the rider with maximum comfort.

The ergonomic design of the FLEX has been tested on riders with heights ranging from 4’ 11” (150 cm) up to 6' 4" (193 cm) and a recommended maximum rider weight of 242 lbs (110 kgs).

Yes, the FLEX features a custom designed detachable rear rack to use with standard bicycle panniers. Also available is the custom Revelo Aero Cargo Trailer which provides up to 50 lbs. of additional hauling capacity.

It costs around 10 cents to charge the included battery from 0 to 100% charged.

Yes! The pedaling mechanism makes it a legal e-bike in many parts of the world without requiring a license or insurance meaning you can ride it on the road legally for faster travel. It's important to check your local laws and regulations to be sure if it's legal in your city.

By having the pedaling mechanism on the front wheel, we have eliminated the need for the greasy chain and the worry of messing up your garments. This also means virtually no maintenance and a cleaner appearance.

Being able to sit upright allows you to have a clearer view of the road. The low riding position together with the ability to custom adjust the handlebar and seat height allows you to place both feet flat to the ground for comfortable and safe stopping. The instant acceleration provided by the electric motor allows for agile and quick maneuverability for increased safety. Included as standard features are front and rear lights, bell, and a rear-view mirror so you can always be aware of your surroundings.

The FLEX weighs 15 kgs (33 lbs) including the battery, about as much as a standard set of golf clubs, which makes it one of the lightest e-bikes in the world. This makes it especially easy to ride and carry around. We achieved this by using top quality, lightweight materials and by focusing on simplicity in our design.

The FLEX is lightweight and ultra-thin. Plus, the greaseless design makes it convenient and safe to store in your office, car, boat, closet or anywhere else you can imagine! When fully folded, it is an amazingly compact 1’ x 2’ x 2.5’ (30 x 60 x 80 cm) for a true take-it-anywhere experience.
